Sunset with a view: more opportunities to watch a drive-in movie are popping up as businesses adapt to social distancing guidelines.

Kapolei Commons hosted its first-ever Drive-in Movie Night on Friday featuring the classic film "The Goonies." Tickets sold out fast for the sunset screening with all proceeds going toward the Hawaii Foodbank.

“We know that times are hard for everyone right now and we are excited to offer something for the community to enjoy,” said Todd Hedrick, Vice President of Leasing and Property Management of The MacNaughton Group. “As with our Virtual Family Dance Parties, keiki contests and now the Drive-In Movie Night, we will continue to develop safe, family-friendly happenings during this difficult time in an effort to remain focused on positivity in the community.”
