MacNaughton Launches "Exchange Summit Series"
Today, MacNaughton launched a series of thought leadership summits to connect the local business community directly with globally recognized industry leaders and resources. The inaugural event, kicked off with an in-person summit at Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and was held in collaboration with Andersen and Hawaii business leaders.
The series is spurred by one of MacNaughton’s values of global collaboration and partnership which affords cutting-edge ideas and new perspectives. The inaugural event featured insights from national experts on banking volatility and uncertainty, federal policy, interest rates, inflation peaking, economic and real estate outlook, innovation, and workforce migration, in addition to a discussion with a local panel of thought leaders on Hawaii’s economy.
“The EXCHANGE Summit Series is dedicated to cultivating cooperative relationships and dialogues within Hawaii's business industry and abroad,” said MacNaughton’s Chief Executive Officer and Principal Ian MacNaughton. “While diverse perspectives and opinions are certainly valuable, finding mutual understanding and shared goals is vital for progress. Our aim is to facilitate this type of constructive exchange and promote the advancement of our community as a whole.”
This year’s EXCHANGE Summit featured an impressive list of speakers.
Ken Rosen, Chairman of the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics, and Professor Emeritus & California State Chair of Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Myron Scholes, Frank E. Buck Professor of Finance, Emeritus, at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences, and co-originator of the Black–Scholes options pricing model.
Rebecca Diamond, Class of 1988 Professor of Economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a board member of the Andersen Institute for Economics and Finance.
